Torvald was about to slide his hands down the sides of Tyko's body but stopped just as he heard the Finn speak. He rolled off and then kissed the boy's cheek.

"It's me, Torvald."

The Swede hoped he hadn't irritated the Finn by waking him up too early. Did Tyko like to sleep in? Torvald enjoyed sleeping in when he wasn't working in the forge or practicing his drums.

"I didn't mean to wake you----I just like touching you."
